Frederick John Carter RIP

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of a well-loved member of our church and the community of Leiston. Fred was a Churchwarden of long standing and an invaluable member of St Margaret's Church. He was a member of many and various organisations in Leiston, as well as being a local businessman. Fred was a master craftsman and he will live on in our church as he recently made and fitted our new oak doors and fitted the furniture in the vestry. His funeral will take place in St Margaret's Church at midday on 4th January.Our heartfelt symapthy is extended to Pat and her family at this sad time.
